Talley and Dillard Books was founded by author and illustrator duo Daph Talley and Bethany Dillard in 2021. Talley and Dillard Books published their first book in February 2021, Oliver Anderson and the Assumption Bumption. They have since published "5 6 7 8 Albert Dances" in 2023 and are planning on releasing another literary work with an estimation date at the end of June 2023.

They are based out of Tulsa, Oklahoma and often get their inspiration from exploring topics that are needing to be discussed by all!

Talley and Dillard Books are pleased to finish their first published book, Oliver Anderson and the Assuption Bumption.

Oliver Anderson has a pet penguin, Phil, and a best friend, Syd. Discover what happens when they run into the bully, Mack Harper. As you read, you will discover the truth behind the grim look on Mack's face and giant bump on his left shoulder.
​
This book teaches children to not make assumptions of others and to realize that their behaviors can be from awful events, like the death of a loved one.
​
Discussion questions are provided at the end to help facilitate a more in depth conversation about the story's events.

Thought Provoking.
I bought this book and absolutely love it. It is a tender honest way to teach inclusiveness. This is a must read. I keep this book on display in my home. Beautiful story beautifully written.
